Description

Secure Ring Safe
Keep your most precious valuables strictly off-limits with this Ring Safe. Designed with security in mind, this small safe uses a standard snap ring to secure the lid. Once your ring is inside and the snap ring is inserted through the central column, making the safe impossible to open!

 

Features & Hardware

  • Two profiles: Choose between a floral pattern or plain exterior.
  • Hardware Required: You will need a standard snap ring/carabiner (up to 4.5mm in diameter) to act as the locking mechanism.

Printing Profiles & Recommendations

  • Maximum Strength Assembly (Highly Recommended): To ensure your items stay completely safe, use the profile that prints the central column as a separate piece. Supergluing this piece into the base bypasses the natural structural weakness of 3D-printed layer lines. In my testing, this specific version successfully held 5kg of weight without breaking, providing excellent peace of mind!
  • Print-in-Place Variant: A separate profile is included for those who want a quick, print-in-place experience. Please note that I cannot guarantee the strength of this version, as it relies entirely on your specific printer's layer adhesion and the material used.
  • Material Warning: Silk PLA is not recommended. Its poor layer adhesion will compromise the structural integrity and security of the safe. Matte or standard PLA, PETG, or ABS will yield much better results.
