Wool Winder
Print Profile(1)

Description
It is intended for placing wool or yarn on it and unwinding it while knitting, without the yarn getting tangled.
I used a rod from an old clothes hanger as a mandrel. A wooden rod or similar would also work.
The bearing is a standard 608, i.e., 8x22x7mm; the mandrel at the bottom is 4mm.
I designed the parts so that no supports are needed.
The bearing center and the disc are glued together with the metal mandrel.
I filled the cavities with plaster to give the part more weight and prevent it from sliding.
My wife is very happy with the part.
