Description
Twist Lamp – Sculptural 3D-Printed Table Lamp
This lamp combines a clear geometric base form with a dynamic, twisted silhouette. The spiral opening creates an interesting interplay of light and shadow, making the lamp a decorative object whether it's switched on or off.
This model was specifically designed for 3D printing and is suitable for modern table or ambient lighting. Its curved shape allows light to exit indirectly, creating a pleasant, warm atmosphere.
Notes on Lighting Components
This model is provided without lighting components. The installation and selection of the lighting component are your sole responsibility.
For my prototype, I used a 10 cm long LED strip from Amazon. To route the cable, I also drilled two small holes into the printed model. Because different LED strips, cables, and power supplies have varying dimensions, I have not integrated these specific adjustments into the model.
Therefore, each user must decide for themselves:
- which lighting component to use,
- how the power supply will be connected,
- and what print adjustments may be necessary.
Print Notes
- Suitable for PLA, PETG, or similar materials
- Works particularly well with light or slightly translucent filaments
- Visible layer lines can give the illuminated object an interesting surface texture
- Depending on the filament used and print settings, light transmittance may vary
