NOBODY - REFLECTION

Embrace a moment of quiet introspection with NObody - Reflection, the latest entry in my NObody series. The figure sits low to the ground, hands clasped between the knees, head tilted forward in the kind of pause you only find at the end of a long day. There is no story written on the face because there does not need to be one: the posture says everything. The fuzzy skin finish softens the entire surface into a quiet suede texture that makes the moment feel closer to a memory than to a sculpture.

Design & Concept

I designed NObody - Reflection around a single posture I keep returning to: a body that has paused, sat down, and turned its attention inward. The NObody figures have always relied on body language instead of facial expression, and Reflection is the pose that asks the most of that approach. The hands meet over the knees, the head bows slightly, the shoulders soften. The figure is reading itself, not the room. I kept the surface fuzzy on purpose, so the texture would feel closer to skin or fabric than to plastic, and so every light source in the room would land on it differently throughout the day.

Printing Recommendations:

•    Material: Matte PLA in white. The matte finish lets the fuzzy skin read as fabric instead of as glossy texture.
•    Nozzle: 0.4mm.
•    Layer Height: 0.2mm.
•    Walls / Perimeters: 3.
•    Infill: 10-15% Gyroid.
•    Supports: Tree supports recommended under the seat and along the inside of the arms.
•    Fuzzy Skin: Contour. The signature finish of the piece, applied to the entire outer surface.
