Bambu Lab Spool Storage Box – stackable
Print Profile(3)

Description
Instead of throwing away empty Bambu Lab filament spools, you can transform them into practical, stackable storage boxes with this system.
The design utilizes the remaining cardboard core of the empty spool and complements it with a perfectly fitting base and a screw lid. The lid has a thread for secure closure.
The special feature:
There is a version with a removable key for easy opening and closing. If you have several empty spools, you only need to print this version once – the key can then be used for all your boxes. This saves material and print time.
Additionally, the boxes have a specially designed rim, allowing multiple boxes to be stacked securely and neatly on top of each other.
Perfect for storing:
- Screws & Nuts
- Small electronic parts
- 3D printing accessories
- Cable adapters
- Other maker stuff
Features:
- Upcycling for empty Bambu Lab spools
- Screw lid with thread
- Removable, reusable key
- Stackable design
- No support required
- Material-saving and practical
Print recommendations:
- Printable completely without supports
- PLA or PETG recommended
- Medium layer height for clean threads
- Slower for threads for best fit
If you print multiple boxes:
Just print the version with the key once, then only the standard versions.
Why throw away when you can make practical storage out of it?
If you like the idea and find it useful, I'd be thrilled about a boost – this supports new designs and more practical maker projects. 🚀
