Hello!
Spawning trap for Celestial Pearl Danios or similar free-spawning fish.
I wanted to breed Celestial Pearl Danios. Collecting the eggs every time seemed too tedious.
I wanted to automate it. A grid is placed in the spawning trap, and moss is then placed on it. The fish spawn in the moss, the eggs fall through, and with an air pump, the water - with the eggs - is sucked through a hole, transported upwards, and flushed into a separate container there.
The spawning trap is designed for a pipe with an outer diameter of 13mm.
Built for an external spawning box “Fluval Hang-On Aufzuchtbecken”.
Since then, I have had maximum breeding success and no longer have to manually collect the eggs.
