A fully customizable Gridfinity-compatible stand designed to hold notebooks, tablets, e-readers, and books. Configure grid dimensions, slot count, panel height, taper angle, and honeycomb patterns directly on MakerWorld – no code editing required.

Features:

  • 📐 Tapered Design - Panels taper inward toward the top with smooth, rounded corners, making it easy to slide items in and out.
  • ✂️ Clip or Skip - Choose whether edge hexes are cleanly clipped along the tapered panel boundary or if partial hexes are omitted entirely.
  • 🔍 Sliver Filter - Set a minimum visible hex size so tiny, unprintable partial cutouts are automatically filled in.
  • 🧲 Magnet Ready - Optional magnet holes (6.5mm) in the feet for a secure hold on magnetic baseplates.
  • 🛑 Front Stop Lip - Add an optional raised retaining lip at the front edge to prevent items from sliding forward.
  • ⚙️ Customizable Online - Adjust grid size, slot count, panel height, tilt angle, wall thickness, and hex dimensions on MakerWorld.

Default Setup:

  • 3×1 grid (fits 3 Gridfinity units wide)
  • 2 notebook slots (creates 3 vertical divider panels)
  • 85 mm tall panels with a 21.7° taper angle and 5 mm rounded top corners
  • 10 mm hex holes with 3 mm wire thickness between them
  • Magnet holes enabled
  • Hex side clipping enabled

Printing Guidelines:

  • Material: PLA, PETG, or PC recommended (stiffer materials work best for the divider panels)
  • Layer Height: 0.2 mm or finer for clean hex edges and smooth rounded borders
  • Infill: 15–20% is usually enough
  • Supports: Not needed
