Description

Following an enquiry, this jig adds the option to include a corner radius to accommodate radius hinges. It also allows the user to widen the front fence to add additional clamping space and shorten or widen the support surface on each side of the top of the jig to keep the jig within the plate dimensions when using long hinges. All in all, most of the jig dimensions can now be changed to suit the user's needs. Note: If you are using hinges without a corner radius, make the corner radius smaller than the radius of the cutter being used, and chisel out the corners as usual. If you want to use a router template guide, you will need to calculate the offset and add it to the hinge length and width - (template guide dia - router bit dia)/2.
