This is a simplified version of the Parthenon.
The Parthenon, a central edifice on the ancient Greek Acropolis of Athens, was constructed between 447 and 432 BC to honor the goddess Athena. It stands as the zenith of classical Greek architecture, celebrated for its perfect proportions, graceful Doric order, and intricate sculptures. The temple has witnessed many changes throughout history, serving as a church, a mosque, and an ammunition store, and was extensively damaged during wartime in 1687. Although it is now a ruin, its remaining colonnades and pedimental carvings continue to be an everlasting symbol of Western architecture and art, profoundly embodying ancient Greek civilization's quest for rationality, harmony, and beauty.
