Description

The 24-Day Easter Treat Countdown Dispenser is a round, 3D-printable candy wheel designed to hold 24 individual treats (e.g., Kinder Schoko-Bons or similar-sized sweets). Each day, insert the custom 3D-printed token and pull the side lever to advance the internal indexing mechanism. The wheel rotates precisely one position, releasing exactly one treat through the bottom chute.

A fun, reusable alternative to disposable chocolate calendars — and a satisfying mechanical project for makers.

Key Features

  • Holds 24 individual treats for a complete Easter countdown
  • Coin-operated mechanism (custom printable token included)
  • Mechanical indexed rotation system (one step per lever pull)
  • Gravity-fed candy release
  • Fully 3D printable design
  • Reusable year after year
  • No electronics required

How It Works

  1. Load the 24 compartments with candy.
  2. Insert the printed token at the top.
  3. Pull the side lever.
  4. The internal wheel advances exactly one position.
  5. One treat drops out the bottom.

Simple. Mechanical. Satisfying.

Perfect For

  • Easter countdown traditions
  • Kids and families
  • Mechanical toy enthusiasts
  • Maker gifts
  • Seasonal decoration with functionality

The print ran very well on my A1. only the spring arm caused me problems because the spring inside is very thin. But it was no longer a problem on the cool plate. A little rework was only necessary on the inner shaft. it had a small bead due to printing, where the parts did not fit nicely over it. but with a little sandpaper, the problem was quickly solved. assembly went great. it is important that you really fix the stopper at the top with a soldering iron or similar. then everything works. if it is still a bit stiff, you can also add a little silicone oil to the shaft. I also printed a shopping aid for my wife. It's simply the dimensions of a compartment. so you can already see in the supermarket what fits in at all. I will send the file to the creator. Maybe he will link it. you have to take the back cover from the Christmas edition. it was missing here

Thank you very much Stefan for your valuable feedback and the boost 😊! Very nicely printed. Obviously, I made a mistake despite checking. I have now added the rear cover to the print profile. Thanks also for the assembly tips. And I'm already very excited about the shopping list 😊!

Hello, unfortunately the shaft is too big and broke immediately It is so tight that it cannot be assembled Really a shame

I'm sorry it didn't work out. Could it be that your printer is not properly calibrated? Did you download the model as stl or 3mf? which slicer are you using?

Ok, thanks for the info. I've optimized all models for Bambu (slicer, printer). Especially with mechanical models, the tolerances are very tight (to ensure functionality), which could possibly be the cause. Try the Bambu slicer and print a test cube to see if the dimensions match to 0.1mm accuracy
