Comlink

The comlink as seen in Star Wars ANH.  I downloaded one of the versions available on Makerworld but found that it was poorly designed for gluing together and rather small.  I remade it with guides but it proved difficult to print the grip cleanly and when I checked pictures it was also a bit inaccurate.  I ended up making my own version from scratch so that it printed and assembled more easily and is more accurate.  I also hollowed out the interior so that it can be filled with your ballast of choice to make it feel heavier.  I used air drying model clay which is cheap and easy to use without leaking.
