Description
This 3D model is a modular chassis jig table designed for building custom, high-detail radio control cars and trucks.
It was created out of a real workshop need-to make the process of assembling and detailing RC vehicles easier, more precise and more enjoyable.
The jig features an interlocking modular design that allows the table to be shortened or lengthened to accommodate different RC vehicle scales.
Adjustable side tables can be positioned anywhere along the length of the jig, offering flexible support for chassis components during assembly and setup.
For added convenience, the table is fully mobile, rolling on integrated wheel casters so it can be easily moved around the workplace while remaining stable during use. Every aspect of the design is focused on practicality, adaptability, and real-world RC building workflows.
Originally designed to streamline my own builds, this chassis jig is now shared with the RC community to help others work more efficiently, accurately, and comfortably on their own projects.
I enjoyed designing this challenging 3D print. The end result exceeded my expectations very happy.
