Description
I decided to make this wallet after printing several designs I have found online. Many were very nice but were lacking in one or two areas. The key features of this design are:
- Holds up to 7 cards (I have 8 in mine because 2 of my cards are very thin so they share a slot, they are insurance cards so they go together)
- Cards are only lifted one at a time using a shuttle for each card. You can lift only the card you want making it easier to remove and replace the card. The card is pushed out of the wallet approximately 10mm.
- Tray for cash, keys etc.
- Robust design, parts are print in an orientation that maximizes strength
I tried to keep the overall size to a minimum without sacrificing strength and function.
You will need 6 screws for assembly. They can be M3 x 16mm self tapping or you can use #4 x ¾" sheet metal screws. I used the #4 screws because they were easier to obtain. I did have to file approximately 1mm of the tip off that was protruding from the backside of the wallet.
