Description
This face sculpture explores the quiet tension between wholeness and fracture.
One half of the face is smooth, calm, and intact—representing the parts of ourselves that are composed, presentable, and held together. The other half is visibly cracked and segmented, symbolizing internal breaks, lived experiences, and the unseen weight carried beneath the surface.
Together, the two sides form a single expression: still, neutral, and human. The contrast is intentional—suggesting that being “broken” does not mean being incomplete. Rather, it reflects the dual nature of identity, where strength and vulnerability coexist.
Designed as a contemplative display piece, this model works well as minimalist décor, a conversation starter, or a personal reflection on identity, mental health, and the complexity of the self.
Printed cleanly as a single form, the sculpture emphasizes contrast through geometry alone—no color, no motion—just form, texture, and meaning.
