Taking inspiration from a spool holder for the Multiboard system, I designed this spool holder from scratch to be used with M5 screws and a 30mm rod.
In my setup, I used 50mm M5 screws with 6mm wall plugs, and I tested the capacity with 8 full spools and another 3 resting on top without noticing any yielding.
The limit to the length of the spool holder you want to build is given only by the length of the rod you will use. I recommend inserting a spool holder every 70/80 cm to avoid overloading the screws too much.
