These are perfect. I was planning on digging out an old pair of shades to destroy for my Halloween themed poker game... then I stumbled across your model... and well... Thanks.

Style Frame Glasses (young-child size)
My young daughter desired a new pair of spectacles for her doctor's kit I searched for a while and then discovered this model which included an 80% scale version for children The print was quick and problem-free The model looks good and fits my little one perfectly Only with the supports would I try using PETG as an interface next time as the PLA interfaces do not look quite as nice and require some finishing

Absolutely awesome when printed with glow filament. Any chance you could add lenses to be printed with transparent petg? (yes, I realize it will not be very good lenses :))

So close! Printed from the app so didn’t mess about with the settings of my P1S. One of the hinges was solid so even carefully moving the base of the arm broke it. Will try again after tinkering in Studio when I get to the computer

How did you get it to work on the P1S, for me it hits the "carriage", throwing off the lid and everything stops

Hi! I'm a student from Instituto Alpha Lumen (a high-performance school in Brazil). I'm starting a social project to provide 3D-printed prescription glasses for underprivileged children in the Amazon and rural areas of Brazil. Your model is fantastic and fits our technical requirements. May I have your permission to use/adapt it for this non-profit mission? We'd love to credit your design in our project. Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thanks for your quick reply, I really appreciate your openness. I’m a student at Instituto Alpha Lumen in Brazil, and I’m starting a small non-profit pilot to provide free or very low-cost prescription glasses for underprivileged children. The idea is to 3D-print frames locally (likely in PETG) and work with optical labs for lens cutting/fitting. At the moment, we’re evaluating a few open-source frame designs to see which ones are most compatible with local optical labs and real-world daily use. Your model is one of the designs we’re considering, and I’d love to keep you updated as we run tests. If you’re open to it, I can share a short one-page overview of the project as soon as we have it ready and the initiative is formally structured. Thanks again for your great work!
