Nvidia Shield Remote Case V2
Print Profile(4)

Description
A simple case for the Nvidia Shield remote. It's an improved version of my previous model with added legs and tighter inner dimension.
Features:
Better ergonomic (it fits better in your hand)
Lays flat on table (which enables you to press the buttons without picking it up, like any other remote)
(Opt.) Blocks the Netflix button (NoNetflix means Netflix is blocked)
(Opt.) Fuzzy skin (for better grip)
How to use:
Simply slide your remote from the top. You can add the retainer clip to prevent the remote from accidentally falling out. It will press the all the buttons while inserting, but it should not damage them (no guarantee, but while testing I had to insert and remove it a lot of times)
Information for fuzzy skin:
To add fuzzy skin in your slicer, add the provided “modifier” STL as a modifier to the model and move it to 0,0,0 in X,Y,Z. There are enough tutorials to show you how to do it. Once added, you can enable fuzzy skin in the modifier, choose “contour only” and play with the setting (in the profiles I used 0.3mm for both point distance and thickness. I recommend not to exceed 0.3mm in thickness).
Updated to previous version:
- Added 4 legs to stop the remote from wobbling when there is a random high spot (because of seam or fuzzy skin)
- When using fuzzy skin or the modifier for it, it will not add fuzziness to the legs itself
- Inner dimensions are slightly smaller
- I noticed that the remote would move inside the case, which annoyed me
- Instead of having 4 build plates in one profile, I have one profile for each model
- Blocked Netflix, No fuzzy (smooth)
- Blocked Netflix, Fuzzy
- Open Netflix, No fuzzy (smooth)
Open Netflix, Fuzzy
