TriAxis Micropositioner
Print Profile(1)

Description
3D printed mini 3-axis microscope stage / micro-manipulator / micro-positioner
This model is fully 3D printed with 29 grams of PLA.
This stage has 13 mm of travel and increments with 10 micron precision
The micrometer has M6 threading, so 1 revolution is 1 mm
The ends are threaded with 1/4-20 threads for mounting to optical tables, tripods, and other optical hardware.
Print without support. Only a small piece of support is required for stage 2, so it is designed into the model.
Print with a 0.4 mm nozzle, 0.2 mm layer height, and 3 wall loops.
For a 1-axis stage, print 1 micrometer, stage 0, and stage 3.
Assembly: No tools are required for assembly. The micrometers thread into the moving stage and snap into position. For best results, make sure the snap clip is horizontal when snapping it in place. It is also helpful to warm the snap clip slightly to eliminate the chance of it breaking.
