Bird feeder

Introducing a Simple Bird Feeder! It's your go-to solution for bringing birds into your outdoor space. This 3D-printed feeder is all about ease and practicality. It fits right into any garden or backyard. Plus, the adjustable rope means you can hang it just how you like it—whether from a tree branch or a porch hook(no need to print the hook!). I've used a 80cm long rope(see photo for reference). The holes for the rope are 5mm. Assembly? Piece of cake! Just thread the rope through, adjust the height, and you're good to go. 

Designed to print without supports, this bird feeder is best suited for UV-resistant filaments like PETG, ASA, or ABS. PLA can be used if placed in the shade or if you're okay with reprinting annually or so. If you place the bird feeder in a windy location, you can use a small amount of glue to secure the parts together.

Printing tips:

• The hook en square: flat on build plate.
• For the "Bird Feeder Body 3" STL, you have the option to print it on its side (Option A) or flat (Option B), depending on your printer and desired quality. Both worked on my printer (BL X1c). Please refer to the slicer photo. I recommend printing it oriented like ''Option A'' for improved quality.
• Don't forget to use brims for surfaces with minimal contact to the build plate such as the STL: ‘’Bird feeder body 3''. I found that the hook and square could be printed without a brim.
