At @Antilope&#39;s suggestion, I made a pin that has a disk to prevent it from sinking into the ground.

We wanted more rigid parts for this model, since our raised beds and surrounding dirt are a bit stiffer to drive things into.  I made the following changes:<ul><li>30% infill, switch from grid to gyroid (better shearing resistance)</li><li>Added small brim to prevent warping during printing</li><li>Added using support material as the interface<ul><li>Allows full contact with the layer, keeping the threads pretty flawless</li></ul></li><li>Re-oriented the poles 45-degrees to avoid the calibration purge lines</li></ul>Printed out of Bambu PETG-HF yellow, and making a bunch of them now.  Love this original model, thanks to the designer for sharing it!

We wanted even more rigid and stronger parts for this model, to help support some apple trees we&#39;ve been growing from seed in buckets out in our gardening area.  These are pretty extreme, so only use these if you need the added strength.<ul><li>60% infill, switch from grid to gyroid (better shearing resistance)</li><li>Added small brim to prevent warping during printing</li><li>Added using support material as the interface<ul><li>Allows full contact with the layer, keeping the threads pretty flawless</li></ul></li><li>Re-oriented the poles 45-degrees to avoid the calibration purge lines</li></ul>Printed out of Bambu PETG-HF orange.  The sticks that I have supports were printed on our X1C, and the balls and rings were printed on the A1.  Love this original model, thanks to the designer for sharing it!

Ready for the coming planting season? This time I made a larger plant support. The parts are screwed together so that they can&#39;t slide apart. Please remove the supports carefully before screwing them together.
