I use a rolling computer cart, much like dr offices use, where there is a small platform designed to hold a laptop. I have a vertical laptop holder to free up the space on the small shelf. This sits in front of the vertical laptop so it can hold my keyboard and is elevated so the trackball/mouse can fit below it. This would also work great on a desk to save space.
