I designed the following bracket in Fusion for the corners of an arbor. I have some general questions about 3D printing design principles. For something on the order of 250mm in size, is it better to build in large holes or is it better to make the part one big torsion box with minimal infill? With standard settings it uses about 850g of filament, but if I make the infill 5%, it only uses 250g. My sense was that it would be better to just make one continuous shape and use light infill. Just curious if anybody has data or experience to bring to bear on this question. Thanks

incredibly efficient use of filament in this design. have to be careful getting it off the print bed but it is an excellent design.
