the print profile and design is great! I won’t shunt a star from this but I would really love to see an implementation where the spool gets locked in to the left properly, as the spool never falls out (it can’t) but it slowly vibrates itself almost off the spool holder, halfway. it results in the spool dangling at an angle (still rolling smoothly) but makes a lot of vibration noise off the rollers

I work in AV and I have been annoyed at having so many handhelds on the table just to be grabbed and placed back.
Instead of paying $50 to declutter my work spaces I figured I can print one!
Couple of days of designing and prototyping (getting the threads was a real pain) I got a working prototype!
There are tweaks to be done over the following weeks but for now this is a great start for a mount, with no other accessories needed to function.
