wrote “Allen Keys” on the front of it, which pleases me greatly. also, this is important, I have one random giant Allen key and it fits in this box!!
wtf do you do with the Allen keys that come with every piece of MIC self assemble furniture these days? I mean, you could throw them out, but they have many uses! put them in this box!

printed one of these and quickly determined they’re excellent. printed nine more and spaced them 2ft apart to mount three hue light strips.

I printed this in PLA, and I think it’s good for what it is.
what it isn’t is a thick, overly protective case. as least as far as printing it in PLA, it’s gonna break, probably well before I drop the phone or anything. of course the upside is, it’s very thin. if what you’re worried most about is scratching your phone on a fumble and not some catastrophic drop, this is a good option. here’s the only major downsides considering the above points: it’s not particularly rigid, so as you handle your phone, you can feel the case move and flex around it. even just simply pressing your index finger against the back while holding the phone will cause the two to move separately. that’s fine. the other issue which could absolutely be improved on, is the edges of all the cutouts for volume, lock switch, speakers and charger cutout, they’re all very sharp edged and not angled or beveled at all. this seems inherently fixable in like ten seconds, just round off the edges. A for effort, 4 stars.
