This is a simple yet elegant design, combining the much loved filament labels with RFID tags from spent Bambu Lab filament spools. (or you can write(copy) your own tags if you are technically inclined.) and reuse them on your 3rd-party filaments. By having a RFID tag, you can have the AMS automatically select the right material and colour, as well as being able to get an estimated remaining amount of filament.

This design is heavily inspired by the original “Nautilus -NOZZLE BUNKER-” for V6 nozzles by my buddy Psych0h3ad. I loved the design and have used it for many years, so when I got the H2D I wanted to keep things consistent for myself so I have adapted the design for the H2D / A1 series of nozzles. This design comes in 3 versions and holds 4/6/8 nozzles.

Bambu Lab seemingly is having a hard time keeping build plates in stock, and there are already many 3rd party build plates flooding the market, especially the more niche plates lined with materials other than PEI. I have designed a 3D printed version which you can reuse amongst different plates, especially 3rd party plates that have a similar front edge for handles which most do.
