Such an amazing and fun print! I learned a lot, first time soldering. Thanks for sharing your great work with the community!

I loved the original design but it was a bit large for my desk setup, so I decided to shrink it to half the original size. To make it work at that scale, I swapped the original 8 mm steel balls for ball bearings from a 608 bearing (about 3.97 mm each) — and it turned out perfectly.
The challenge was keeping everything smooth and functional at this tiny scale. At first I tried it with 0.4mm nozzle and silk filament, and the balls got stuck. I tried again and used a 0.2 mm nozzle and 0.06 mm layer height to preserve all the fine details, and it printed flawlessly. Everything moves freely right off the bed with no sanding or tuning needed.

Just launched Version 2 of my Mini Pirate Ship in a Bottle!
This update features a fully redesigned bottle with smoother curves and a custom gravity-balanced stand. Still printed in spiral vase mode with transparent PETG—and yes, there’s still a pause to drop in your ship. If you liked v1, this is the upgrade you’ve been waiting for.

Thanks to feedback from the community and test prints, I identified a flaw in the original bottle design—specifically in the base fillet. The original 5mm fillet created a weakness in spiral vase mode, where the transition curve was too gradual, causing poor layer overlap and structural failure. This updated version uses a tighter 3mm fillet, which significantly improves base strength. If you downloaded the old STL, I highly recommend replacing it with this fixed version.

What an amazing print! I printed this as a gift to my boss who used to fly these in the military. He's gonna love it. Thank you for your amazing work! I printed this at 0.08 layer height and I think because of that, the print failed a couple of times at the window frame portion. I increased the support angle to 40 degrees to support the critical area and that solved it.

This was my first-ever MakerWorld upload. I had no CAD experience, so I remixed @Panda63’s X1C model to look like a P1S using just Bambu Studio. It’s not perfect, but it taught me a lot. Includes optional AMS, transparent door/lid, and multiple print-friendly versions. Thanks to @Panda63, @AskNinjaTom, @smigi13, and @XentoBi for the amazing base models.

🧊 Shardlight Crown – forged from frozen light and made possible by PETG clarity mastery. Big thanks to @TheIceBurge for the print profile that made this glow like magic.

Just crossed 500,000 impressions on MakerWorld. I honestly didn’t expect this much interest when I first uploaded my Benchy in a Bottle project. Since then, it's grown into a full Bottle Series—classic Benchy, the ship version, the tiniest one yet, and even a frozen voyage.
Big thanks to everyone who’s downloaded, printed, or just stopped by to check it out. I’ve got more ideas coming soon. Appreciate the support!

Just dropped my tiniest model yet — a custom bottle designed to fit @3DOdyssey’s World’s Smallest Benchy. It’s part of my “Benchy in a Bottle” series, printed in crystal-clear PETG using Jamaican Lumberjack’s clarity profile. Pause at layer 80 to trap the micro Benchy inside. It’s tiny, fragile, and super satisfying.

So on a whim for kicks and giggles, I shrank my bottle to fit your model and it came out halfway decent! Would you mind if I released this on my page with a link to your model? It's kinda funny and I think some in the community might like it!

I took everything I learned about PETG clarity and packed it into this: a Benchy ship sealed inside a clear bottle. I added four original stand designs now included for display options. This one's a tribute to the MakerWorld community and all the creators who helped make it possible. Would love your feedback!

Just released: Benchy On Ice – Frozen Voyage
A real Benchy frozen mid-drift in a crystal-clear PETG block. Not a render—just tuned clarity, smart lighting, and a perfectly timed rotation.
Huge shoutout to @jmaicn_lmberjck and @TheIceBurge for the magic behind the lensing.
Come see how a simple bottle turned into an arctic time capsule.
Let me know what you think or tag me if you try it!

Just launched: Benchy in a Bottle – now with four custom stand options. I designed each one to match different display vibes, from elegant arcs to solid nameplates. Prints in vase mode with ultra-clear PETG, and the classic Benchy gets sealed mid-print. Super proud of how this came out!
