Thanks for sharing this model. After printing both of CATIA’s jet engines, I had to print this one as well to complete my collection. The profile worked great, and I had a lot of fun assembling it. The afterburner and variable nozzle are excellent additions—I highly recommend them.

Looks great, and the print worked very well. I had one misprint because I initially tried using PLA support material. Apparently, it didn’t have enough adhesion to keep the fan blades in place, so several of them warped. After changing the profile back to the original and using the same material for both the print and the supports, it worked perfectly. So I cannot recommend to use support for PLA.

Great look and an excellent print profile. The pins used to attach the mounting plate were a bit too thick, but I simply used a drill bit to manually widen the holes. It only took a few minutes and worked well.

Great design. at first I thought it’s too flimsy when removing it from the buildplate, but it works just perfect. I can now store everything I had in two boxes in one box.

That’s a truly magnificent model, and I’m extremely happy with the final result. Print quality is excellent, and the latest PLA Support profile works perfectly. I didn’t have a single misprint throughout the entire project, which is impressive given the total print time. Nevertheless I had some sample prints to find the right color. I enjoyed both printing and assembly. Assembly took about 3.5 hours and was smooth and satisfying from start to finish. Build facts: Total print time: 66.1 hours Total filament used: 1,310 g BBL filaments used: PLA Matte Dark Green, Nardo Grey, Charcoal PLA Basic Silver, Bronze, Black, Hot Pink, Jade White PLA Support Overall, this was a fantastic printing experience, and I’d absolutely recommend this setup and profile. Recommendations: Print some extra injection nozzles.
