If you're planning on printing this model, please wait for a bit as I'm going to release a v2 within the upcoming 48 hours (assuming final test/print/assembly is successful). This v2 will have all parts redesigned to fix: - any tolerance issues, - better print of the map part by fixing overhang issues - less support, only 6 connector pins - and just easier assembly in general !!! I've also added 6 slots in the bottom for chin straps to make wearing it as a cosplay item easier.

This is a full-size 3D model of the Mario Kart World Crown, designed as a detailed display piece or wearable prop. Since I manually modelled it after the crown how it is in the game I won't say it's completely 1:1 accurate but I think it's quite close.

I’ve just tested the Raspberry Pi Zero 2 W and the Dune Weaver app runs flawlessly and it’s likely more than enough for this project. So from now on I’ll recommend buying this instead of the more expensive Raspberry Pi 4 model. This makes it now possible to build it for ~ €175 for the basic version and ~ €225 for the version with LED, glass top and the legs.  I will make one of the foundation legs suitable for the raspberry pi zero including buck converter for a cleaner build.
