I design, print and prepare designs for cutting for those who do not have access to a 3D Printer, cnc or the ability to produce content. My vision is to empower makers and hobbyists by designing and making parts available for assisted or self production. I believe the future lies in smaller centralized maker spaces where anyone can produce parts in the garage or local mill from available content. My vision is to help provide my design skills to help people bring their ideas into reality. Your support helps make all this possible.
When I migrated from my Prusa printers to the Bambu with AMS I tried all the usual tricks to make the cardboard spools work. Usually the spool center would spin causing retraction failures or things would just get too sloppy causing filament tangles and messes. I had been using the tape method for a while but recently the spools have been coming with soft spots on the rim causing problems yet again. I don't know why a TPU shim took me so long to consider but it works perfectly.
