This is a 3-part adapter for connecting a 38mm hose to the Makita P-81745 connector.The design consists of a main body, a ring, and a bottom part. The bottom part joins with the main body through a threaded section. The thread is secure enough on its own, but you can use superglue for a permanent assembly if you don't plan to take it apart. The ring is designed to be slightly loose, which allows the swivel to rotate and provides the clip effect needed to detach the adapter from the vacuum.
