In use, the moiré effects beautifully exemplify Old World Magic, creating a low-tech illusion that felt as if reality itself were subtly glitching. The result is not just visually striking, but deeply evocative, resembling a device a scientist from centuries past might have used to study parallel worlds.Second Prize(receives $300 of my MakerWorld points) Codex Volante: The Master’s Projection Archive by FreyaA highly engaging, tactile model that projects both light and a genuine sense of wonder. Piecing together the cubes felt like uncovering a slightly ominous secret, and setting it up had a ritualistic quality. The concept becomes even more compelling with the potential for additional projection designs that support interactive storytelling.Third Prize(receives $200 of my MakerWorld points) Puzzle Cube by MaroniAn ornate puzzle cube that evokes a strong sense of mystery and accomplishment. The design and accompanying instructions are impressively detailed, especially for what the designer describes as their first complex 3D model.
