How to correctly share the dimensions of a model request. I have been making models request for free for the past 6 months and I though could share a little insight on how to share dimensions to make my life easier. Things which you should do: +Post one picture of each side of the object with a ruler on the side (preferably a metric one), perfect example bellow when peter asked of a replica of that lid. From each side it would mean top, bottom, right and front. +Give me dimensions if possible of each thing every dimension you miss its I dimension I will have to calculate and probably get wrong. +Be clear with the instructions putting each description in a point. +If you are the best send a picture of the object with the dimensions drawn on top, with arrows indicating what dimension its Things which you shouldn't do: -Take a picture of the object and a reference object like a coin a pencil or something like that. We don't all use the same objects and even if all the coins were the same its so had to calculate the dimensions. -Taking perspective pictures. Meaning the angle of the shot its from the corner and not from the side or top. - Expect I'm a fast delivery and want your model for the next day.
