Hey guys, sad news… Like @LayerForge. and @LittleGuyModels I’m probably going to be leaving the community. It’s just so annoying now that everything is funding. Also, basically the only active OG from when I started is @Romans1x16 anymore. I’ll still respond to stuff for the most part, but won’t make as many posts. I also never really scroll the community anymore. If you want to contact me easier or see more of my posts, go to

#Revivemakerworld #Revive Maker World #Fix MakerWorld :LIKE IF YOU AGREE:PLSSS REPOST:BECAUSE OF THIS I AM QUITTING MAKERWORLD:@MakerWorld was once a vibrant hub for creativity, innovation, and genuine maker spirit, but the recent surge of AI-generated "slop" has threatened to erode everything that made the platform special. Instead of celebrating original ideas and the hard work of real designers, Makerworld is now flooded with low-effort, mass-produced AI content that drowns out authentic projects. This overwhelming presence of AI slop not only devalues the efforts of true makers but also deters new talent from joining, as their thoughtful contributions are buried under a mountain of generic, uninspired posts.
If Makerworld wants to reclaim its reputation and foster a healthy creative ecosystem, its designers must take decisive action to curb the spread of AI-generated content. By implementing stricter guidelines, improving moderation, and prioritizing human-made projects, Makerworld can once again become a space where originality thrives. Without intervention, the platform risks losing its core community and becoming just another dumping ground for disposable AI output. It’s time for the Makerworld team to step up and restore the platform’s integrity before it’s too late. PLSSS REPOST(Edited)

#Ai Slop #fix the comunity #Revivemakerworld #Revive Maker World #fix makerworld #save the comunity It is becoming #increasingly frustrating to see the MakerWorld community flooded with low-effort, AI-generated models that are, quite frankly, turning into unprintable "slop". While AI can be a useful tool, many are using it to pump out untested, broken, or low-resolution models that clutter the platform, burying the hard work of genuine designers who spend hours—sometimes weeks—prototyping, optimizing for FDM printing, and refining their designs. This trend doesn't just lower the quality of the platform; it devalues the expertise, skill, and creative passion of the human creators who make this hobby great. We are losing the community aspect of sharing functional, well-designed models to a wave of AI clickbait that often uses deceptive renders instead of real photos. It is time for a change in priorities to protect genuine talent, and we must do better at highlighting and supporting human-designed work. Please, test your models, use real photos, and report content that is clearly just mass-produced garbage.
