We have recently identified several fake accounts impersonating our official MakerWorld accounts and attempting to obtain users’ information through direct message. We are aware of this issue and are actively taking action against the accounts involved.
Please keep the following reminders in mind:
1. All official MakerWorld accounts are verified with a green mark. Any account without this verification is an impostor, and we encourage everyone to report such accounts promptly.
2. Official MakerWorld accounts will never request unnecessary personal information. Please carefully verify the identity of any account claiming to be official.
3. Please do not click any external links until they have been verified.
4. If you have any uncertainties or doubts, please submit a support ticket at any time for assistance.
Protecting our users’ rights and privacy on MakerWorld is always our top priority. We take any attempt to misuse user information very seriously. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and trustworthy community for everyone.

@Sammybolony : I think this just happened to me. It said that my account is closed and sent me a link to create a new microsoft account. Is this a scam bc I saw no green checkmark or is it actually real? Please let me know
