I'm Alessandro (@ale_master.3d). Over the past few months, I've developed a tool that I think many of you will find interesting.
It's called AlgoVase – The Parametric Vase Studio.
It's not just any generic CAD software. It's a parametric generator designed to produce 3D-printable models in vase mode, without supports, with optimized surface quality.
What can it do for you, creator:
- Generate infinite vase variations in seconds by moving sliders in real time
- Apply twists, surface waves, and three shape profiles (straight, hourglass, domed)
- Obtain clean STL files, ready for sale or printing
- Work offline, serverless, and subscription-free – a single HTML file
Why you might be interested:
If you sell 3D models on Etsy, Cults3D, Thangs or other marketplaces, AlgoVase allows you to create dozens of variations of the same object without having to model from scratch every time. If you have a small print studio, you can offer your customers real-time customizations. If you're a designer, you can explore shapes you would never have drawn by hand.
I'll be launching the Kickstarter campaign soon.
There will be three levels:
- Maker – tool only
- Expert – tool + premium guide
- Studio – all of the above + commercial license to sell STLs and prints
The commercial license allows you to use AlgoVase to generate models for sale without royalties or limits. Pay once, create, and sell forever.
I've attached some images of models generated with AlgoVase and already printed.
