My philosophy is, where possible, to add designs that subtract waste. I believe that creating 3D forms that integrate function and form with existing everyday items, which would otherwise be discarded, is the ultimate reward of 3D printing. I aim to bring as much humanity to an otherwise remote process by designing all my work on paper first. The nuances arising from human input serve as a counter to the cold perfection of algorithmic design.
