Description

Sometimes you just need a simple bowl. Fast. It cannot wait.

This bowl and tray can be printed in under two hours in vase-mode with high-speed PLA like Bambu Basic PLA or Sunlu Meta.

The tray can act as a cover for the bowl or vice versa. They are large enough to hold and protect your breakfast or a lot of cookies. During testing I found out that my bowl and tray are watertight. This is not intended because normaly PLA prints are NOT watertight. Do not rely on my experience. If you really want a watertight print, spray-paint the inner side with two to three layers clearcoat. That will close all open pores.

Printing is simple: Turn on “Spiral Vase” mode and set the outer wall thickness to 0.99mm. Yes 0.99mm for an 0.4 nozzle. This will work and you will get a nice and robust wall. Use 4 bottoms for a solid base.

The models can be scaled to match your printbed or your cookies.

No assembly needed. Just rip the bowl of the print bed and fill it with cookies!

Nice bowl! I printed it with 4 walls, 0 infill and 5 bottom layers at 0.2mm layer height for more stiffness.
