v3.1 is definitely an upgrade. Holds the ptfe connector well. everything stays put even when you run the X all the way to the cutter. Nice job!

Used it in combination with an external spool holder (https://makerworld.com/en/models/134485#profileId-145948) but with an almost empty spool the holder would move and get pulled up because it wasn’t heavy enough. to overcome the issue I’ve used your Top PTFE mount and connected a PTFE tube between the holder and the connector. since the ptfe-connector doesn’t move anymore like it did when it was attached to the z-axis everything stays in the same place! thanks!

using the profile to print, the guide wouldn't stay locked in when the extruder goes to cut. Just a loose fit. going to try slicing it myself to see if I get a better result.

awesome! can't wait. I hate the stock placement for a multitude of reasons. Any chance you'll be adding holes in the top to be able to bolt it to the extruded aluminum z rail? either way. Will be printing your next ver.

The part that is in line with the z-axis rail seems to be a bit too large. It is possible to move the z-axis high up such that the cap pops off (if no screw attached) or the head just bangs into the cap. Other than that, the design is ok

Thanks for your Feedback. Since the cap has the exact same size as the orginal its not a issue of the design. I did not move the Z that high, but also there shout be a machine limit because the z ends at the cap.

yes but depending on your printer and detail profile be careful or push from inside.
