Description
TL;DR
Tool to hold a screw on top of a bit in two sizes for short and long bits.
Long story
Evolution of a functional 3D model
Saw this and thought i could made much cheaper ones
First version was to brittle for PLA (worked with PETG and TPU)
Some DIY guys in reddit asked for a small but very cool modification to make it possibly to screw down the screw without breaking the claw. That was the second evolution step.
finally today the 3. evolution
A short version for typical bits and a longer ones for long bits and T-handle bits. The longer one allows you to screw down the screw without the need to remove the tool.
The short one is still best to print in TPU / PETG the longer one can be printed in PLA to without breaking while screwing down to the end.

I had to make a couple tweaks for my machine but overall it printed perfectly.

Did you use PLA or others? PLA may be to brittle especially for the short one.

Tried printing 3 times... legs way too brittle on PLA or PETG. instant snaps

Try the one with slits on the sides, we are using them i the workshop.
