Description

A slim wallet that offers space for 7 cards and a drawer for cash.
I looked for a long time for a wallet that had enough space for cash, but I couldn't find one so I made this one myself.

This ist the Updated Version

  • I added a lever to securely open and lock the cards so that they don't fall out
  • I reworked the drawer mechanism so that it lasts better

Important: Some information about printing:

  • The wallet is printed standing up

  • First, the WalletConnector and WalletDistributer must be printed. Then the WalletCase.

  • In the wallet case I added an "pause or M600" command at layer 60 (at layer height 0.15) so that the printing then stops. You have to do this by yourself in your slicer!!!

  • At Layer 60 the print will stop. Now insert the previously printed WalletConnector and WalletDistributer as in the picture below.
  • Then you continue the print. The printer will now print over the two parts.
  • At the end you have to use a little force to free the distributor

Have fun with it and leave a like or subscribe if you like it!

If there are any suggestions for improvement, feel free to write a comment.

Sadly, it is not printable. Support is blocking the insertion of the object.

That's strange... It worked for me and there should actually be enough space. In your picture it looks somehow different than in the slicer. Have you maybe changed something?

I did not change anything, here is a screenshot from the slicer. Bambu Studio - 1.9.1 Public Beta 4

Switching to 'Tree Slim' fixed this issue for me, hope this helps! *note - I'm using Orca slicer 2.0, not Bambu Studio. I had the same issue before making the change, though.

I'm very sorry that it didn't work out for you. Everything went great for me and the wallet has been in use for a few weeks now.

Printed Great, But.... The little piece (connector?) was too long but I was able to cut it down to fit while it was paused. Biggest issue is trying to figure out how to break free the distributor? Bambu PLA Basic gray Overture PLA Sillk purple EDIT: I was able to get the distributor free but would have been easier if I knew that the tab on the wallet was movable. I thought looking down the wallet that the distributor was printed over and the tab on the wallet was buffer so you didn't hit the distributor. Will have to glue the distributor and the tab. We shall see how it works. Edit: Unfortunately it doesn't fit my wallet contents.

Yes, you need a bit of force to free the distributor

The printing settings this time are fine, but I believe the lowering lever could be designed as a single integrated piece instead of requiring separate parts to be assembled. That would make printing even better.

I used the stl file. you can forget the 2 separate parts and only print the body and the drawer. and the print was successful.
