Description

Print in place / Swing up door cover / 0.16 layer Optimal is recommended due to tight tolerances on joints / 2 color model shown.

Turn on sound to hear the click when closing it in place.

 

No  screws, bolts or any hardware needed.

 

Please see last video clip on how to breakaway lower part after printing. 

Recommended to do this after the print has  cooled down.

Really great design. Added a little "Art deco" pattern to make it faster :) which looks a lot better in real life.

No, googled for a nice black and white pattern and converted it to SVG (with convertio.co). The svg can be imported in BS. Rescale it so it fits (make z just 2-3 layers thick), align it with the object (in this case it can be bigger then the object), assemble it with the object and turn the pattern into a modifier (the reason it can be bigger) with another color. All at all a nice technique to stamp your design.

This is the smartest thing, that I've seen posted on this website. Everybody with an A1 or Mini, should print this out. I'm always swapping nozzles on my A1. Which is why I bought it as my first Bambu Lab printer. Ease of use. This makes it easier. You get this years "Smartest Bambu Lab Mod"!

Yeah I was deleting old gcode from my Ender when I saw it said .24mm. The print that succeeded was at .16mm. I assume with taller layer height and it's bigger overhangs, it was just curling too much at that one spot. So it would catch and come off. All 3 times that it failed, it was at that same spot and was at .24mm. The final and successful print, I was actually on the profile that I wanted to use. I'm gonna reprint it in grey now, with one of my "PEY" bed sheets to get that crystal pattern.
