Cool little toy and works really well. It does come apart internally somewhat easy but I think that's due to the spring not staying in place which is probably my fault

Glad you like it :) Not sure if you only tried it without the top cover on as pictured. It needs the top cover to be held together.

I did try it with the cover and noticed it made the face pieced buckle a bit and I still had the same issue with it not working after so long cool modem regardless though

i've tried to print it 2 times, printer is calibrated, not working, spring always go out

I have done some more testing since posting with different springs. It is very hard to cut the springs down perfectly and I found that the springs were popping out more often when I cut them to 16.5mm so I shortened to 14.5 and had more success. That said I have changed the documentation to recommend the Paper Mate ComfortMate Retractable pen springs as I know that those work very consistently with non issues for me.

I got it work! It's so cool! I had to add a little grease between the lever and the piece below it to make it slide a little more easily. I only have a textured plate, so the mating surfaces were rough.

As pointed out I forgot to include the face plate file in the raw files. It is now there, enjoy.
