Separated Into Parts For Easy Multicolour Printing
Greatly Improved Audio Quality Over Stock Phone Speaker
Much Better Low/Mid Frequency Response With A Noticeable Bass Boost
Much More Directed Sound Projection
Master Volume is set to 11 as a nod to Spinal Tap
I have separated this model into separate print profiles for easy printing. This will save you having to adjust settings within Bambu Studio when using a 0.2mm nozzle. The only thing you need to do is physically swap nozzle and change the nozzle type on the printer itself :)
Assembly:
All parts must be glued together. It requires the smallest amount of glue to hold the parts in place, so be cautious not to use too much.
The logos have a recessed impression in the speaker grills of the main body, for easy alignment.
Extra Info:
The front panel and white edging strips must be printed with a 0.2mm nozzle to retain as much quality as possible. At this scale the text is barely readable, but does still give the desired effect. You can of course scale the amp up enough to retain all of the text if you want to :)
The main body will print with no support (The example print was printed this way) BUT this does require two 80mm un-supported bridges and some clean up with a sharp craft knife post print. This is in order to get a nice fit with the edging strips.
The feet are important to the overall sound quality. If the amp is rested directly on a flat surface then there is nowhere for the ports to project the sound. You can also change the EQ of the sound by adjusting this height (increase Z axis scale of the feet only, in Bambu studio.)
I really hope you like this one! - It's been a fair amount of work to achieve what I wanted with this design and I'm really happy with how it turned out :)
Please rate and review your printing experience
Don't forget to add a picture of your amp to the comments below :P
Thanks for looking!

As the owner of a Marshall JCM800 half stack, and a Bambu P1S with AMS, this is MY DREAM PRINT!!
Gonna start it tonight, will report back with results!
I see the prime tower is not enabled.. is it not necessary for the color changes of the main body?
and last question- would you ever consider remixing this to be a Marshall half stack that's not a phone holder? Just as a display piece, with the head not having the cutout?
No prime tower necessary for such a small amount of painting. It would add a lot more time and waste filament for no real benefit.
The prime tower should be enabled for the front panel though :)
Thanks!
So sorry!!! - I must have missed them during the final upload!
I'll sort it out now :)
Thank you for letting me know, and sorry to anyone who has printed without the corner pieces. I can't believe I didn't notice myself!!
Thanks for printing! - The corners are supposed to be all black and only have painted screw heads in the renders. Sorry for any miss understanding, I forgot to mention that in the description. Cheers.
I used Bambu Studio to paint the screw heads. Unfortunately, it still didn’t print the color. Most likely something I didn’t wrong.
great model. Need a Vox next.
Front Panel, 3 Colour, 0.2mm Nozzle, 0.08mm layer, 8% Infill
Printed with Bambu PLA Silk Gold and the 0.2 nozzle. Came out quite fine ... close up, it's a bit messy but from a couple of feet away, it looks like a real mini amp :-) Well done and thanks!
Thanks for printing :) - I would suggest printing the front panel using a non silk filament as I'm sure silk would not help with retaining the detail. It is however still barely legible at the scale either way so probably not worth it. haha.
Yes, I thought about that afterwards, too. But The clips on the handle and the front panel in gold looks very nice from some distance ... so I'm happy ;-) Thanks again for that beautiful model!
Main Body, 0.4mm Nozzle, 0.2mm layer, 2 walls, 8% infill
Very impressive!
I finally got my Marshall stack! Rock on!
BL Basic black, gold, white and red. Main body with 0.4mm nozzle, accoutrement with 0.2mm nozzle.
Will print feet in TPU eventually.
