Description

Plant Swing!

A funny cute plant pot sitting on a swing. Give your pot different hair styles by choosing your plant. I’ve included a attachment so the swing can be attached under a shelf, window frame or on the ceiling. If there is interest for a attachment the can be hung from the wall I will make one!

Please leave a like, feedback and don’t forget to upload your makes! If you’ve got any trouble don’t hesitate to contact me.

Materials needed

  • 1 piece of rope. ~3mm diameter.
  • PLA
  • Plant
  • Glue
  • (2 screws) if you want to hang it up underneath a shelf or window frame.

Assembly:

  • Glue the arms and legs in place. (arms should be vertical up, for the rope.)
  • Glue the shoes on the legs.
  • Cut 1 piece of rope at the desired length. (2x the length between the attachment and actual height you want the swing to be hanging.
  • Insert the rope through the holes in the swing from the top side down.
  • Tie a knot on both ends of the rope to keep the seat in place.
  • Press the rope in the hands of the pot.
  • Attach the attachment to the desired place and screw it down.

These have been a huge hit among my coworkers! They print well, although I've had some arms fail. I just added some supports and reoriented just the arms and was able to printer then easily that way..

I have tryed to print the left arm three times and it still break, the right I have no problem with. I have tryed your support settings AND normal support wich is much more support, and it still wont do it. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hi, im sorry to hear that. I've look into the print profile but couldn't find the problem. I resliced the arms and uploaden a printprofile V3 for you. So if you redownload it should be fine. Was the arm falling over while printing? Or did it break after? I hope that this will help you, goodluck =)
