Description

this is a remix for 14 mm LED strips (Not tested by me, print at your own risk)

update:

Variant 3 should now fit all AMS

I designed a holder to hold your replacement buildplate
https://makerworld.com/de/models/107641

I completely rebuilt the model. I have adjusted a few things.

  • Dimensions minimally adjusted
  • Break-out cable entry at the front and back
  • 20mm x 20mm hole pattern on the sides to enable attachments to be screwed on
  • 12mm LED are possible
  • the LEDs can be attached with cable ties (holes in the model)
  • a lip in front of the LEDs so that you are not blinded
  • connection of the individual parts using a connector in the shape of a bone. This makes it easier to adjust the fit of the parts later

More of my models:

One of my latest models is a Chain Guard. This prevents the chain from getting caught on the screw, etc. on the side.

I can't seem to find the "bone" connectors. Are they available anywhere else?

Thanks bud. I printed the first half and it looks great! I did have a little sag and stringing on the inner most LED lip, but I've only had this X1C a week so I may need to tweak some settings or change the ventilation.

Hi there. I'm going to print Your model, but before I go for it I have small question. I see Your profile is based on PLA. So question is: Is PLA holding good especially with Open Lid when Heat is going up from Chamber? As I have a lot of PLA and it would be good to print of it, just a bit worried here. Or better should I go with ABS or at least PETG?
