Description

A print-in-place travel case for 2/4/6 Oral-B toothbrush heads (Vitality/Pro/Smart/…, NOT iO/Pulsonic), including 2/4/6 stands.

Before that we just carefully placed them upright somewhere, but they often fell over. I had several iterations of those stand pegs (including one with the actual profile), but decided for this sleek design to use a tad less space, but even more to allow easier cleaning.

The 6-brush-version does not fit on a Mini - it's 19.3 cm long.

Print-in-place, no assembly, no supports, 0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height works fine.

I added a test piece on the 4th plate to test it the tolerance works for for printer/filament/settings. If the hinges don't get free, try a lower flow ratio (in the filament settings), or if the hinges are too loose, try higher. Also adjusting the X-Y contour compensation might help.

What a great idea! Everything fits well and it snaps and holds OK with PLA.

Depends on printer, filament and the settings. Maybe try a slightly negative value for XY size compensation (like -0.05mm) or reducing the flow ratio. Try with the test piece. A lot of people had success (with a 0.4mm nozzle).

Had to adjust the speed for the hinges to 50% less has they would get stuck. I did try the test model to work on my flow rate but I had no issues whatsoever, just with the main model. In any case, after the adjustments it's working perfectly. Thank you!
