Supermarine Spitfire Kit Card - V1.0

Features:

• Assembled in only 6 parts

Assembly:

1. Snip all the tabs with a pair of side cutters or similar
2. Slide the wings through the fuselage ensuring the wheels stay in the ‘as printed’ position.
3. Ensure the angled part of the wing sits flush with the fuselage and has the hole protruding to the other side.
4. Slide the wing wedge through the hole. This will lock the wings in position.
5. Lower the landing gear and insert the 2 small locking tabs into the hinge slits
6. Push the propeller into place with a gentle twist.
7. Enjoy your Supermarine Spitfire MKII :)

Extra Info:

• The ideal set up for this model would be to use 2 AMS's and 6 colours, in order to be historically accurate (like the digital renders).
• All of the photographed examples were printed in 4 colours using A1's and an A1 Mini
• The retractable landing gear can occasionally print with loose tolerances, allowing the gear to fall out. The hinge tolerances are designed very tight, so I can only put this down to different filaments having an effect, as 90% of the time it's a non issue.
• The landing gear can be removed post print by design.
• I may upload just the landing gear with even tighter tolerances, if people have any issues. These could be popped in place post print and increase the hinge stiffness greatly. Please let me know how you get on!
