Description

A new collection of suspended model and this time its from the Star Trek series..

This is the USS Enterprise NCC 1701 D from the television series Stat Trek Next Generation..

I design the frame to look like the stardock with the enterprise in the middle.. since i cant use LED strips cause of the thin frame of the stardock.. i opted to use the Bambu LED Kit 001 that is placed on top of the stardock and closed with a cap..

There is also 2 extension of the warp engine that needs to be printed separately.. In order to make the ship printable vertically without supports.. I had to change the shape of the ship slightly to accomate floating regions..

The stardock frame also has windows from each sides but i modelled it so it can be printed without supports..

The only part printed with supports in the extension of the 2 warp engines..

If you're thinking of buying the LED kit.. please do support me by using my affliate link here.. LED LAMP KIT 001 every little things helps me out..

I added multicolor print profile so feel free to change the colors as you see fit.. Have fun 3d printing..

Great file! I stretched the X axis to look more like the Enterprise D.

That's a good idea.. Was the hanging visible on the saucer? I didn't want to make it too wide cause I thought the saucer would be printing on air for too long

Can you post the remix of the change? Or reply on the % changes on the axis? Thanks!

Love these suspension models you have been putting out. The first set of suspension lines printed with no errors however when the printer came to the bottom of the saucer, it couldn't handle it. If I'm not mistaken, the bottom of the saucer starts printing over thin air. With nothing to attach to at either end, the filament just falls to the bed. I wasn't around when it actually attempted it. When I got home all of the filament for that section of the print was lying on the bed. What am I missing?

That is weird.. Let me check the files again.. I'm guessing your not printing with a bambu printer? Ur using which slicer?

i just double check my models.. there is no overhang like your picture on my models.. maybe its the slicer.. do not repair the model when importing it..
