Description

The second model in my watch stand series. Like my other designs, I tried to incorporate an “industrial” theme into these stands. They look especially good with G-SHOCK branded watches however I'm sure they will suit others. Incorporated are optional strap tensioners for those with large wrists/ straps. Simply tighten or loosen the M3 screws to adjust the tensioner. These stands look great with the optional M3 countersunk washers, however button head screws will work just fine on their own if you prefer.

Assembly Tip

Print at 25% gyroid infill for a good level of strength.

Add a little glue to the guide notches on cradle part B. This will help prevent the cradles from moving when removing/ displaying your watches.

Screws required to complete:

4 M3x14mm countersunk or button head screws to attach the watch cradles to the center connector.

2 M3x10mm countersunk or button head screws to attach the center connector to the backplate.

2 M3x12mm countersunk or button head screws to attach the backplate to the base.

2 M3x10mm countersunk or button head screws to lock cradle parts A and B together.

2 M3x8mm screws for the optional Strap tensioners.

* These are recommended, you may get away with slightly longer or shorter screws depending on the stand parts.

If the face were angled back like 5 degrees it would hold a large watch better, but for most its good.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll try and incorporate optional angle adjustment in future designs.

nice concept. looks very cool and one can easily customize the colors. gonna try this with PETG for more strength since I already managed to snap a couple parts but glue them in place.

Printed with generic PLA with no issues. I used cylindrical hex-screws since I didnt have any countersunk ones. Still looks quite cool. Thanks for the model!

this is a great design however I had to print more washers to complete the look and the list of screws actually ended using more M3 x 14 plus the watch cradle themselves are designed on the same side so I ended making a mirror for the right cradle as you can see in the pic, they’re both left cradle which is still usable if you don’t care about small details but I do, so the second pic is what the opposite cradle should look like, and it can hold heftier watches or make the bottom bigger 😁

Instructions would have been great, but by trying it worked :D Instead of 14mm I only had 16mm. worked without any problems.
