Description

I wanted a nice battery powered fume extractor which is way more convinent than the wired version. I suggest using a 18650 battery and 1S USB C charger as shown below :

Electronics:

Miscellaneous:

  • Optional : Carbon Filter (5mm thick)
  • 4 * M4 short brass insert
  • 6 * M3 brass insert
  • 6 * M3x6 screw
  • 4 * M4x35 screw or M4x30 if you don't mount front and back grid

Assembling:

  • Use hot glue for mounting the 18650 battery
  • Use double sided tape for mounting the electronics
  • Optional : Use a 3 or 4 pin connector for connecting the fan

Print settings:

  • PLA or PETG
  • Print the Case on its face and use support for the IO panel
  • Layer height : 0.2 mm

Filament used :

  • Prusament PLA Jet Black
  • Bambulab PLA Basic Bambu green

A little tip is to put the switch in front of the step up converter as it also consumes power in idle mode.
